        Jono Richer was born in New York City on July 23, 1996. Growing up in the cultural center of Greenwich Village, he showed an interest in music from an early age. Beginning his pursuit as a guitarist at age eleven, Jono enrolled in private lessons as well as performance classes at his middle school. At age thirteen Jono and his family moved to Florence, Italy where he fell in love with the arts and committed himself to practicing 8+ hours a day to master his craft. Upon returning to New York for high school, he began studying formally in music theory, ear training and arranging along with taking private lessons on guitar and piano. By fifteen Jono was playing professional gigs in New York City and embarked on his first national tour and festival dates. Jono graduated from Berklee College of Music in August 2018. He earned a merit scholarship and finished Magna Cum Laude with a bachelor's degree in Guitar Performance, a second Bachelor's Degree in Contemporary Writing & Production and a minor in Music Production & Engineering. Currently, Jono is working as a guitarist, producer and music director in Los Angeles.
